Tourism is the state's 3rd Largest Industry
Tourism plays a significant role in Idaho's economy, contributing $5.83 billion in direct spending; which equals $16 million per day.
Additionally, tourism generates substantial tax revenue, helping to fund public services and infrastructure improvements.

In 2023, local and state tax revenue generated by travel spending increased 5.5% over 2022. Total local and state tax revenue generated approximately $649 per Idaho resident household making it a vital component of Idaho's economic landscape*.
